Aakrith is a second-year MA candidate focusing on States, Markets, and institutions in Asia. He graduated summa cum laude from the OP Jindal University in India with a BA in International Relations, specializing in the South Asian Political Economy. He also completed a short-term course in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) at the University of Oxford. He previously interned at the Observer Research Foundation in India. Aakrith is passionate about the intersection of business and public policy and aspires to pursue a career in the consulting sector.

Daniel Sixto

Daniel is a second year M.A. candidate focusing on International Economics and the Americas. He graduated from Florida International University with a B.A. in International Relations and Economics. He previously served as an Assistant Editor at the SAIS Review. Daniel’s research interests lie at the intersection of technology, economics, and national security.

Anthony De Luca-Baratta

Managing Editor

Anthony De Luca-Baratta is a Public Service Fellow and second-year MAIR Student at Johns Hopkins SAIS. He is an intern at the Macdonald-Laurier Institute, Canada’s premier national think tank, where his work focuses on Canadian national defense and U.S.-Canada relations. He has written articles on AI policy and Israeli foreign policy for The National Interest. At SAIS, Anthony focuses on AI governance, national security, and American grand strategy.

Seokjin Yun

Seokjin is a second-year M.A. candidate concentrating in Security, Strategy and Statecraft in East Asia. Seokjin is a recent graduate of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies with a B.A. in International Studies and English Education. His research interests include the intersection of Asia’s alliance politics and competition in the space domain. He has experience working at non-profit organizations focusing on military security in East Asia, such as the East Asia Institute and Project 2049 Institute. He is originally from Seoul, South Korea.

Jiwon Lim

Jiwon Lim is a first-year M.A. candidate focusing on Security, Strategy, and Statecraft in Asia. Jiwon is concurrently a senior in Johns Hopkins University majoring in International Studies and Sociology through the Hopkins Direct Matriculation Program. Her research interests include diaspora connections in SEA, nationalism, and the role of civil society in national security. Jiwon has experience working at non-profit organizations regarding US-Asia cooperation and digital media publications.
