
Alexandra “Ash” Huggins, Editor-in-Chief
Alexandra (Ash) Huggins is a second year M.A. candidate focusing on Security, Strategy, and Statecraft in Europe and Eurasia. Ash is a recent graduate of the University of Chapel Hill (2022), where she majored in History and Peace, War, and Defense. Her research interests center around international law, world order, multilateral diplomacy, and the intersection of supranational organizations and national security. Outside of class, she has worked at the International Crisis Group, in government relations at the Policy Resolution Group at Bracewell LLP, and the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.

Mira Anderson, Senior Editor
Mira is a second-year M.A. candidate focusing on China and States, Markets, and Institutions. She recently graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a B.A. in International Studies and East Asian Studies. Her research interests include cooperation on transnational issues, democratization in Asia, and US-China relations. She has experience working at non-profit organizations focused on education and international development. She is originally from Glastonbury, Connecticut.

Nick Anthony, Managing Editor
Nick is a second-year M.A. candidate focusing on States, Markets, and Institutions in the Americas. Nick recently graduated from Virginia Tech with a B.A. in History and Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE). His research interests include multilateral diplomacy and economic development in the Global South. Nick has experience with non-governmental organizations focused on public financing and infrastructure development internationally.

Santisouk Austin Saycocie, Online Editor
Austin is a second-year M.A. candidate concentrating in States, Markets, and Institutions in Southeast Asia. During his first year at SAIS, he served as an Assistant Editor at The SAIS Review. Prior to SAIS, he taught English in Shiga Prefecture with the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program from 2017-2020. Currently, he is a 2021 Thomas R. Pickering Fellow. He graduated from Grand Valley State University with a B.A. in International Relations and Criminal Justice.

Kosi Ogbuli, Podcast Editor
Kosi Ogbuli is a second-year M.A. candidate interested in studying the erosion of democratic institutions, the rise of digital authoritarianism in Sub-Saharan Africa, and the role of technology in empowering democratic governance. In his research, he seeks to leverage multimedia formats to define socio-political phenomena and influence policymaking. Kosi graduated from University of California, Los Angeles with a B.A. in Political Science and International Relations. He has previously worked as an Editor of Branded Content and Policy Analyst for The Economist.
