
Jonathan Mangrum, Editor-in-Chief
Jonathan Mangrum is a second-year M.A. candidate concentrating in Security Studies and the Indo-Pacific region. His research interests include China’s international development projects and the security challenges of India and Indonesia. He is a founding executive board member of the SAIS South Asia Society. Before attending SAIS, Jonathan completed two internships in the House of Representatives, where he worked on issues including US Indo-Pacific Strategy, the COVID-19 pandemic, and nuclear power. Jonathan graduated magna cum laude from Georgia College with a B.A. in Political Science. He spent his senior year studying Urdu in Lucknow, India as a Boren scholar, and he received a 2016 Newman Civic Fellowship for civic engagement. He is originally from Augusta, Georgia.

Na-Yeon Park, Senior Editor
Na-Yeon Park is a second-year M.A. candidate concentrating in Security, Strategy, and Statecraft with a regional focus on the Americas. During her first year at SAIS, she served as an Assistant Editor at the SAIS Review. Her research interests include climate change, elections, and anti-corruption efforts. Prior to SAIS, Na-Yeon worked in education and DPRK counterproliferation programming. She is a Donald M. Payne Fellow, and is on track to enter the USAID Foreign Service after graduation. Na-Yeon graduated with honors from Rutgers University, where she received a B.A. in Political Science, Chinese, and International & Global Studies.

Isabel Fox, Managing Editor
Isabel Fox is a second-year M.A. candidate in International Relations, concentrating on Security, Strategy, and Statecraft with a regional focus area of Europe and Eurasia. She previously served as an Assistant Editor for the SAIS Review. Isabel graduated from the Honors College at the University of South Carolina with majors in History and International Relations, where she wrote her honors thesis on the legacy and impact of First Lady Edith Wilson on the efforts to ratify the League of Nations. Prior to attending SAIS, Isabel worked as the Faculty Events Coordinator at Duke Law School.

Daniel Hojnacki, Media Editor
Daniel Hojnacki is a second-year M.A. candidate with a concentration in Security, Strategy, and Statecraft and a regional focus on Europe and Eurasia. Daniel graduated from Kenyon College with a B.A. in Creative Writing and a minor in Russian Language and Literature Studies. He has written for the print edition of the SAIS Review and Europe’s Edge, the foreign affairs journal of the Center for European Policy Analysis. Prior to SAIS, Daniel served as an English Teacher for the Fulbright Program in Grodno, Belarus. He was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio.

Kosi Ogbuli, Podcast Editor
Kosi Ogbuli is a first-year M.A. candidate interested in studying the erosion of democratic institutions, the rise of digital authoritarianism in Sub-Saharan Africa, and the role of technology in empowering democratic governance. In his research, he seeks to leverage multimedia formats to define socio-political phenomena and influence policymaking. Kosi graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Political Science and International Relations. He has previously worked as an Editor of Branded Content and Policy Analyst for The Economist.
